What is the green clip good for?
The green clip was used on older Restube versions to indicate that a new CO2 cartridge has been screwed in. If the Restube was triggered, the clip would fall off into the water and a red dot would become visible. The clip only served indicative purposes and had no technical function. Therefore does the lack of it not affect the function of your Restube in any way. Yet, if you own an older Restube model and really want the clip, then we can send you one. For this, we would need your address.
The new safety buoy models BEACH, ACTIVE & EXTREME (lifeguard starting 2022) have a new, modern display system that works completely without a clip falling into the water. We are working hard on LIFEGUARD, AUTOMATIC and pfd by RESUBE in order to be able to offer these products without a clip. But since the seeming less and proper function is very important to us, the development with all the necessary long-term tests can take over a year.
